Absolute linear encoder for CNC machine tools
Overview
Absolute linear encoder with glass measuring support.
Serial interface SSI – BiSS C (unidirectional), with or without 1 Vpp analog signal, Siemens DRIVE-CLiQ, FANUC αi and MITSUBISHI High Speed.
Resolutions up to 10 nm.
Accuracy grade ± 5 μm in the standard version and ± 3 μm in the high accuracy version (± 2 μm for measuring lengths up to 670 mm).
High resistance to environmental dirt.
Central fixed expansion point (FEP). On request positioned on the right (RT) or on the left (LT), for a linear expansion consistent with the type of application.
Absolute glass grating, placed in the scale housing.
Metrological certificate provided with each scale.
Linear thermal expansion coefficient λ = 8 x 10-6 °C-1.
Direct reading of absolute measure.
Connector on the transducer, easily disconnectable in case of need.
Protected against inversion of power supply polarity and short circuits on output ports.
Small size, to allow installation in narrow spaces.
